You run an inclusive government, Ikare Monarchs tell Akeredolu
The two traditional rulers in Ikare Akoko in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State , the Olukare of Ikare, Oba Akadiri Momoh and the Owa Ale of Ikare, Oba Adedoyin Adegbite have commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, for the construction of various roads in the town. The Monarchs particularly thanked the Governor for the construction of the Oke Alabojuto road and the continuous developmental projects in the town. The Owa Ale recounted that prior to the rehabilitation of the Owo /Ikare road by the Akeredolu's administration, most people would travel to Ado from Ikare before going to Owo due to the bad state of the road. The traditional rulers commended Akeredolu for running an inclusive government. They said :" We thank you. Our community leaders have thanked you about the road. We know how Oke Alabojuto road was before your intervention. In the last two years, you have been working in Ikare. Your government is very inclusive. Even in terms of security, we are grateful " Speaking on behalf of the people of Akoko North East, one of the community leaders, Alhaji Olanrewaju Kazeem, apologised to the Governor for the abysmal performance of the APC in the local government during the last election. He promised that in future elections, the local government will show appreciation to the party and the government of Governor Akeredolu with their votes. Governor Akeredolu urged the party leaders in the local government to close ranks and work for a stronger APC.
